Houston, We Have A Turnip!

I can't believe we are at 17 weeks. Marcus and I were talking this weekend about how it is flying by and dragging at the same time. We are almost half way there.

In my understandings about pregnancy, I am at the point where my raging baby hormones are drastically dropping and that seems to be creating a constant headache. It ranges from dull to pounding. It was pounding this weekend, so I enjoyed sleeping and lounging all day in my pajamas. The exciting Anna that went all over town- shopping, eating out, and scrapbooking is temporarily gone. We all knew it would happen and that is okay. This Anna is saving money, the economy may suffer!

from Baby Center: Your baby's skeleton is changing from soft cartilage to bone, and the umbilical cord — her lifeline to the placenta — is growing stronger and thicker. Your baby weighs 5 ounces now (about as much as a turnip), and she's around 5 inches long from head to bottom. She can move her joints, and her sweat glands are starting to develop.
