I Bite!

Abby wore her "Watch Out, I bite" shirt to school this week. I sure hope her teachers find it as funny as we do.

Her biting of other kids has gotten much better, but she now bites herself when she gets frustrated. I have looked around online and it is "normal", but definitely worries me. She has only done it at school and it is almost always part of a confrontation with other children. It is purely frustration that she isn't getting her way, the toy, attention, etc. We are working hard on teaching her "no bite Abby". I think we have such a low stress household and quiet life that she just gets overwhelmed. I pray it goes away.

Oopsie

Can you see the bump and cut on the middle of Abby's forehead? This is her first major oowie and happened alone with her father. You can imagine that we just took 2 steps backward on his helicoptering ways!

It involved a fall to the floor from a big person chair that she no doubt wanted to sit in! After some tears (by both of them!) she is good as knew. Daddy on the other hand.... just kidding!

First Incident Report

Her first boo boo.... Abby Lu was hit by a plastic toy this morning at school. There is a pea sized purple bump on the left side of her forehead. I had to sign a report that I discussed the issue with her teachers. Abby cried when it occurred, but was perfectly fine by the time I saw her.
