In my book club, we recently completed the book Escape, by Carolyn Jessop. I would highly recommend it!The book chronicles the life of Carolyn Jessop who was a member of the FLDS and one of 6 wives of a highly regarded FLDS man. She had 8 children after the was forced to marry at age 18 to a man older than her father. The book shares a lot about how the FLDS came about, what they believe and what they have been told to cement those beliefs and gives a rare look at the inside of an FLDS household. It will make you appreciate your life and your freedom to marry the love of your life!
