Tomorrow our much anticipated trip to Hawaii is upon us. Hawaiian shirts, sunscreen, and floral sundresses have been purchased. Suitcases have been packed and reservations have been made. Still, it just doesn't seem real. The Lord has truly blessed Marcus with an amazing job, given him much success and given us a week to reflect, relax and recreate. Here are some pictures of what we have to look forward to..... this is our hotel nestled on a secluded beach. I have been told our room will have large doors that open to the ocean for us to hear the waves as we sleep.
The resort features 50 acres of swimming pools with waterfalls, grottoes, secluded private swimming holes, waterslides, and a lazy river. I hope Abby Lu likes the water!
We also have plans off the resort to go tubing and Marcus has a downhill bike ride planned on an island canyon. We are spending our first day on Oahu to see Pearl Harbor and the offices of Dog the Bounty Hunter. I hope to take a picture with Leland!
On Tuesday while Marcus is playing golf on their famous PGA course, I am spending the day at Anara Spa with a facial and maternity massage planned. They also have these amazing spa cabanas for reading in your plush robe and slippers.I can't imagine that we will ever go on a trip like this again and hope we can take the time to truly experience the gift being given to us... not only the gift of a trip, but of a good job, a happy marriage, a healthy baby, and a loving God who created it all.
